Ahemmm....Announcement Please

Well, as you know from my previous post, Momma "almost" got to adopt a new playmate for me.
But, it did not become reality.
Well, something about that happening must have got the desire burning in my Momma for me to have a new sibling, because guess what????
We have adopted a new poodle-brother for me!!!
Introducing..........
Jack, the white poodle.
He is much smaller than me, Momma says he only weighs 8 pounds (I weigh 12 pounds).
He is very timid.
His story is sad.
He was a puppy mill worker in Oklahoma most of his life. He stayed in cages most of the time, never
getting any lovin' or attention.....except to be bred. When the puppy mill owner decided he
was too old to work, he took him to the vet to be euthanized (Momma told me what that word means and I covered my ears!!).
Well, instead of doing that, the Vet called Pryor Animal League (P.A.L.) in Pryor, Oklahoma and a sweet lady came and got Jack and took him into her foster home! (I wanna give that sweet lady some slobbery kisses.)
Well, Momma saw Jack's photo on the same website where she saw mine (Petfinder) and called the lady and they agreed to meet so Momma and Sissy could meet Jack. They drove a long way, 2.5 hours, (like they did with me!) to meet Jack. Apparently, it was love at first sight, because they brought him home that night! Because he is very timid, I mostly just ignore him right now, but he does not bother me....except to smell my butt occasionally. tee hee Arf!
So.....now this blog will be about OUR adventures: Jasper & Jack! :o)
More photos will be coming, so
stay tuned.
xoxo,
Jasper
P.S This is Cynthia: please keep my 24 year old niece in your prayers...she is 7 months pregnant with her and her husband's first baby... and was rushed to the emergency room this morning. She was having hard contractions and dilated

to 2 cm. We are very worried about her and the unborn baby. They are keeping her in the hosptial and trying to stop the labor from progressing. Thank you! Cyn.

Oh, Jasper!!! This is just wonderful news - our Mom's eyes are leaking! You and your peeps will give poor Jack a wonderful life and he's so lucky to have you!

Sometimes people are so mean, especially puppy-mill people. Argh.

We can't wait to read more about your adventures together.

Congrats again!!!!! Yay!!!

Kisses,
Dot & The Brat Pack

I am so happy for you Jasper, and your mommy! Yeah! Jake is so darling. (but...not as cute as you :o) But don't tell him!) but seriously, Jake is darling. You both are!
It touches my heart to see him now getting to live the life he DESERVES out of that yucky, sickening environment of the puppy mill. Some people are so cruel to animals.
BUT now Jack will be LOVED and that is what matters! :)

Cynthia - your niece is in my prayers. I pray each night.

Dear Jasper,

So wonderful to hear about another great rescue. Jack will have such a happy home with all of you. We found my friend's dog on Petfinder too! Just totally amazing. Mom is trying not to go back and look because we know what will happen...I will have another brother or sister! She is holding back.

Cynthia, your niece is in our thoughts and our prayers. Please let us know what happens.

Hugs from Billy Boo and mom:)

Jack is so cute! Of course, he isn't cuter than you. What a happy outcome to Jack's sad story. How old is he? Those puppy mills are so evil and nasty- a pox on them all!

Your mama is so sweet and loving to take Jack in and give him a new life.
Big Wags,
Isabella
PS- I love your new bowl.

Hey Jasper,
Jack will be very happy living with you and your family. Who is older?

We will keep your Mom's niece in our thoughts. Please keep us updated with the baby. Mom had a good friend who went into pre-mature delivery at 7 months. Her baby girl is healthy and growing up well.

Congratualtions on getting new brother, Jasper! YAY! I'm so happy your mommy adopts such cute little guys like you. Jack's story is very sad, though, and I'm sure there's thousands of other poor doggies out there, suffering.

Why are puppy mills legal? I heard that in the UK they're illegal, and I think our goverment should pass a law like that. Hmmmphh!
